The cat is discomfited.
Workmen are in the house,
creating chaos and disorder.
With his one-expression kitty-face,
the cat looks at me, seeming to say,
I’m distressed by this mess!
Where can I hide?
Where is my hall rug?
Where is my food?
Where is my litter box?
Workmen are in the house,
creating chaos and disorder.
My tidy-of-mind engineer husband
is discomfited, too.
I’m distressed by this mess!
Where can I hide?
Where is my hall rug?
Where is my food?
But he says, he, at least, knows
where his litter box is.
Until today, when they
pulled the toilets.
